The rules of the Forecasting Tournament "In pursuit of the Iron Horse"

PBC CSKA jointly with the  "Labirint" online shop  invite all basketball fans to participate in a new version of our traditional forecast tournament – "In pursuit of the Iron Horse"!

How does it work?

Each registered participant may forecast for any game available in the system, mentioning the following:

• the final score of the game;
• the best CSKA sniper of the game (mentioning the number of his points);
• the best CSKA rebounder of the game (mentioning his rebound index).

Each of the participants will get points, depending on the accuracy of the forecast, once the game of the Forcasting Tournament is finished.

Scoring System:

• +1 – participant chose the correct winner of the game;
• +7 – participant indicated the correct difference in score;
• +3 – the right number of scored points by one of the teams;
• +2 – the difference between the forecast and the earned points by one of the teams is 1-5 points;
• +1 – the difference between the forecast and the earned points by one of the teams is 6-10 points;
• +1 – the right CSKA player, who has become the scoring leader in the game;
• +1 – the right number of points scored by CSKA scoring leader in the game;
• +1 – the right CSKA player, who has made the maximum number of rebounds in the game;
• +1 – the right number of rebounds made by CSKA rebound leader in the game;

Winners:

Winners of the Contest will be defined at the end of the playing season, after the last PBC CSKA game in the Russian Championship.

The Grand Prix will be awarded to the participant with a maximum number of points in the tournament standings.

First three places of TOP-30 rating will be prize-winning too (only 30 best games in which the participant gained maximum number of points).

Moreover, two special nominations are set up for participants who have the best forecast scores at the end of the season:

• the best CSKA scorer (sum of the points in "Shooter" and "Points" columns);
• the best CSKA rebounder (sum of the rebounds in "Rebounder" and "Number of rebounds" columns).

Contest Restrictions:

1. In order to participate in the contest you should be authorized user
2. One person can't use more than one account for the participation in the contest. This will lead to the further elimination from the contest.
3. All predictions should be made by participants, if the prediction is made by somebody else the result will be canceled.
4. The forecasts for the next game will not be received one hour prior the game. Before this moment a participant can change his forecast unlimited number of times. All the stakes on this game will be accessible for free review rght after stopping receiving the forecasts.
5. The score is officially entered from the final score sheet from the game (taking into account all the overtimes if they occurred).
6. If the game ends with a technical loss, all the forecasts for this game will not be included in the final points calculations.
7. If there are several CSKA scoring leaders (rebounders) in one game, all of them will be rated equally during the points' calculation of this game.
8. If two or more challengers for the prize have the same score by the time of final summing-up, the one who made fewer forecasts to achieve his result will be named as a winner. If it doesn't help to find a settlement of the argument, the date and the time of registration will be taken into consideration. The participant who has registered earlier than others will gain an advantage.
9. All the arguments which can happen during the Forecast Tournament will be clinched by PBC CSKA web-site administration in unilateral order. The decisions taken by PBC CSKA administration may not be appealed.
10. The contest is implied as a voluntary participation. Web-site administration will decline all responsibility for spent time and moral damage of the participants, if they don't win any prize.
11. The prizes should not be substituted by money equivalent.
