The first CSKA home game with significantly changed roster started with touching retirement ceremony for Holden and Langdon and finished with the win over Zalgiris Kaunas in the Gomelsky Cup semifinal. Our team will meet Fenerbahce-Ulker in the final.

CSKA vs. Zalgiris Kaunas: 69-61 (+8)

Jonas Kazlauskas, CSKA head coach:
It is a pleasure to see that the big club knows how to say goodbye to the great players. The ceremony was timely and beautiful; it called the warm feelings out. We had a sense of celebration on the arena tonight. Our task was to use all 13 players, to participate in the celebration and to win. I think Zalgiris will be a big force this season. The team has a good roster and great coach. It is obvious that not all the teams show their best game here at the Gomelsky Cup.
