Our team played indistinct first half and used Ramunas Siskauskas hot hand. Lithuanian veteran led the team in the third quarter and played great defense. Lokomotiv-Kuban was defeated with double-digit margin.

Lokomotiv Kuban vs. CSKA: 64-77 (+13)

Jonas Kazlauskas, CSKA head coach:
We prepared for the difficult game, and it went as we expected. The opponents were well-prepared not only because they watched videos but they remember our game in preseason tournament. We started slowly. We played bad in the first quarter, especially on defense, therefore went out of rhythm on offense. We allowed Lokomotiv too many rebounds on our glass and had to defend 13 times more. As I told to the players, we started to play too smart team defense forgetting about individual performances. When we started to defend not so sophisticated, everything changed.
