Our team’s center Nenad Krstic has become the Euroleague Game 5 bwin MVP. Nenad recorded his second double-double this season and again against Panathinaikos – he scored 17 points and made 12 rebounds in the battle for first position in Group B.
It should be mentioned that 12 rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds are the personal bests for Krstic in Euroleague career. Nenad had 31 ranking points in the game vs PAO and he holds the third place in All-Euroleague list with 21.9 ranking – Andrei Kirilenko (29.4) and Nicolas Batum (23.2) are ahead of him. Besides, Krstic is ranked 1st in offensive rebounds (3.0), 10th in scoring (15.8), 6th in rebounds (7.2) and 9th in fouls received (5.0).
Another CSKA player was also in the company of Game 9 bests. Victor Khryapa recorded career high 28 ranking points. Nikola Mirotic (Real) had 30, Erazem Lorbek (Barcelona) – 29, Lior Elyahu (Maccabi) – 25.
