In the first home game of the Euroleague Top 16 our team will face Anadolu Efes from Turkey, which also started the second stage with a victory week ago.

CSKA does not have any injured or ill players. Moreover, the entire starting five got a rest in VTB United League game on Saturday.

It is interesting that current CSKA Euroleague winning streak started in December 2010 with a victory over Efes Pilsen. Now the streak stands at 12 and the club of Istanbul changed its name to avoid beer advertizing.

"It’s a Top 16 game, and there are no weak opponents on this stage of Euroleague”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “Anadolu Efes is one of the best Turkish teams historically and they caught good rhythm by defeating Galatasaray and Fenerbahce Ulker in recent games. They are especially good on a perimeter and we must play very attentively on defense to stop their backcourt. Overall their roster is very good because the team is built to qualify for the Istanbul Final Four."
