The schedule in February makes our team visit Istanbul twice. Transaero charter plane took our team to ancient Turkish city for the first time today to face Galatasaray in the Euroleague Top 16 game.

“I hear a lot about our winning streak, but we should not think about it,” – CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “As soon as you use the word ‘undefeatable’ towards you, you will be defeated. We made a lot of mistakes in our home game, we did not read Galatasaray pick-n-rolls well enough, so we have room to improve. I know that the opponents’ fans support their team very loudly, but at the same time I remember that CSKA played its best basketball this season in difficult atmosphere of away games.”

It was decided to leave Anton Ponkrashov (healthy scratch) and Victor Khryapa (dislocated right index finger) in Moscow.
