Today Moscow army team by the charter flight from the airport Domodedovo went to Tel-Aviv where the Final Four of the main continental tournament Euroleague ULEB will take start on Thursday. CSKA went to Israel in the full squad – Dusan Ivkovic took all 13 basketball players. Also CSKA junior team went to Israel today. They will take part in the international junior tournament.
After cold Moscow weather with the rain and snow Israel met our team with good warm weather. It is 27C now here. Many journalists met the army team in the airport. But it is not unusual. Unusual was another thing.
A group of fans in red-blue colors also was in the airport. There are fans of local Hapoel who are don’t like Maccabi very much. They are going to support CSKA on the first semifinal against hosts of tournament. They were with different anti-Maccabi banners. They were in white t-shorts with CSKA logo and some phrases in Yiddish on it.
Also a group of this fans met bus with CSKA players near the hotel. There were 2 Moscow girls too who came to Tel-Aviv two days ago.
After arriving and accommodation in the hotel our players had some time for a rest. Then they went to arena to have an evening practice.
