The cooperation with Orlyonok is very voluminous and productive for army men. The coaches of CSKA junior project work out with the kids of all ages and basketball levels all summer long (Leonid Spirin conducts practices in August). Boys and girls have a lessons of basketball technics and rules but they also learn to work as a team, to help each other, to appreciate, respect coaches and partners.
Yuri Yurkov and Sergey Tarakanov as well as junior project head coach Andrey Maltsev met the Basketball Squad members, told them about themselves, the club, the junior team, answered the questions. Sergey Tarakanov brought in and displayed his Olympic gold medal. The Squad members received the presents from the club and autographs from the Olympic champion.
After that Sergey Tarakanov participated in the clinic which was conducted as part of the Euroleague One Team project. The CSKA junior team member also took part on the clinic.
The balls for the Basketball Squad were presented by Nike, CSKA technical partner.
