Defeating UNICS Kazan in the fourth game of the series CSKA again won gold medals of Russian Championship. Army team took an initiative in the second quarter and did not lose it until the final buzzer. All tries of the opponent to recover were finished by nothing:

UNICS vs CSKA: 81-86

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

- Today our game was quite different than another three. My players could play tough. We were very good in the defense and absolutely deserved this victory. UNICS is the team which shows good offensive basketball, but today they could score only 31 points in the first half. During all 40 minutes we controlled the temp of the game. I would like to congratulate all my players, my assistants and all our fans who support us. Yesterday CEO of CSKA Sergey Kushchenko had a birthday. So, our victory is our present for him, though, it's one day late.

The head coach of UNICS Stanislav Eremin:

- Today first time in last four games we saw CSKA, which we used to see. The key reason of our loss was the fact, that in last 18 days we had 9 games. We worked in a very high rhythm, and today we had not enough physical conditions. Our opponent played with very aggressive defense. Players, which are usually controlling the ball well, have made a lot of turnovers. We could recover but in key moment Marcus Brown was brilliant and cut our chances. I would like to thank my players for the level of the game they could show.
