To play on the loudest arena of Euroleague our team boarded renewed Transaero plane.

Business-class seats, internet and satellite phones on board plus the highest (as usually) level of services by CSKA Official Carrier has become worth background for the first away game in Euroleague. 12 players were able to enjoy the flight: Alexey Zozulin, injured Evgeny Voronov and junior team players were left at home.

The meeting with Partizan promises to be very interesting for several reasons. First, it will take place in Pionir Hala which can be named the loudest in Europe. Second, the hosts are coached by Dusko Vujosevic again. Third, the army men have 4 Serbian players on the roster. Nenad Krstic is loved by local fans (the center spent four seasons in Partizan), Vlade Micov and Zoran Erceg are not a big figures for them but Milos Teodosic is hated by Grobari as any other Crvena Zvezda fan. Therefore the game will be a real challenge for Teo.

“I have only good memories about playing in Belgrade regardless of the score,” – CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “I enjoy the atmosphere, the fans, the fact that people in Serbia love basketball. I am always happy to meet Sasa Danilovic. I think it will be a tough game. Partizan is young but has a lot of energy. When they play at home, they play harder, faster and more intensively than on the road. I think it will terrible mistake to evaluate them basing on their first game against Besiktas. I think our game will be completely different.”
