After three games played in October our team's forward Sonny Weems was named the bwin MVP of the month. CSKA won three games and Weems averaged 30 ranking points.
In the games against Lietuvos Rytas, Partizan and Brose Baskets Sonny averaged 20.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.3 steals. He leads the competition in points per game.
The last army men to win the prize were Andrey Kirilenko and Nenad Krstic, who dominated the Euroleague tow months in a row in October and November of 2011.
