The October is gone and Munich is far away. CSKA visit to Istanbul to play Besiktas promises to be absolutely different in comparison to the final game of preseason tournament in Bavaria.

“It will be completely different game from the one we played in preseason tournament in Munich,” - CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “Besiktas has improved a lot; it is witnessed by the results of two games they won and competitive game which they played on the floor of Barcelona. We know it will be difficult. They improved their chemistry, ball movement and shooting percentage. We will again face the team with shooting big men and we should be ready to make the adjustments. The game we lost against Zalgiris in VTB League after competing for three quarters proved one more time that transition defense and control of the boards are crucial to win.”

Transaero charter flight took a dozen of players on board. The team misses Zoran Erceg (torn Achilles), Alexander Gudumak and Alexey Zozulin. At the same time Evgeny Voronov is added to the roster after a week of practicing.
