Season is still on its initial stage but our team will visit third Lithuanian city already. CSKA flew to Vilnius today to face Lietuvos Rytas in Euroleague game.
The trip will be a dual one for the army men: the team will spend the night in the hotel after the game and board Transaero charter plane to travel 200 km to Minsk for VTB League game. Therefore CSKA has 14 players for the trip except for Zoran Erceg (Achilles surgery) and Drew Nicholas (coach’s decision).
"We know what it’s like to play in Vilnius”, - CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “We had a close game against Rytas at home and we know that we have to face their good shooting and quickness. Therefore defense will be very important again and we also have to move the ball on offense fast and smart."
