Kazan meets CSKA again. Our team landed in Tatarstan capitol today to face the hosts in PBL game.
Transaero plane took 13 players on board. Injured Zoran Erceg stayed home as well as Alexander Gudumak, Dmitry Korshakov and Ivan Strebkov who has junior league game. Nenad Krstic also flew to Kazan but the coaches do not count on him. As Ettore Messina explained, Nenad should continue his rehabilitation with athletic coach Evaldas Kandratavicius and the team hopes to have Krstic back for the game against Brose Baskets on Thursday.
“It will be traditionally difficult game in Kazan which has good, well-coached team,” – CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “We are coming after important Euroleague win so we need to show a desire to continue improving the quality of our game. It will be important to defend the opponents’ transition offense and to fight for rebounds.”
