For the second time this fall our team stepped on Bavarian land – this time to face Brose Baskets in the Euroleague Game of the Week.

The army men roster was changed in comparison to previous games. Zoran Erceg (right Achilles surgery) was joined by Dmitry Sokolov (right hip adductor) and Evgeny Voronov (illness). At the same time Nenad Krstic is back after ankle injury. The junior team will be represented by Alexander Gudumak.

“We had a chance to realize that Brose Baskets is a very tough opponent,” – CSKA head coach Ettore Messina reminded. “CSKA won by last-second shot last year and we had difficult game in the first leg at home. It will be the Game of the Week in Euroleague and it will be played on beautiful arena in Bamberg in front of the great fans. So we have to show our best level of game to win there. I am very sorry that we miss Dima Sokolov who was doing well last couple of games. But we hope to have Nenad Krstic back.”
