The schedule of far Eastern voyages in the VTB United League will be over for our team after the game against Enisey in Krasnoyarsk on Sunday.

“It’s ONLY minus 20 outside”, as locals say. Definitely, the frost could be much harder in Siberia in January and the cold weather looks even softer than in Moscow here. At least the army men are not unhappy.

CSKA went to Krasnoyarsk shorthanded. Andrey Vorontsevich and Zoran Erceg continue to recover after injuries, Theodoras Papaloukas stayed home to have more intensive individual practices. Sonny Weems gets back to Moscow from San Antonio on Sunday morning. Dmitry Korshakov was bust with the junior team but Alexander Gudumak flew to Siberia with the main team after being juniors’ top scorer on Fraday against Khimki-2.

“We have a difficult task ahead of us”, CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “Enisey is always playing well at home besides they recently signed Jefferson which makes them even more dangerous. We gave up a lot of energy in the Euroleague game on Thursday and besides the problem with injured players we have to deal with not so good physical conditions of Khryapa, Kaun and Krstic. So all the team has to perform on its level to succeed.”
