Basketball Sunday in USH CSKA will start at 11:40 am when the legends of CSKA and Zalgiris will step on the floor. The main teams will continue at 13:00 in VTB League game.
“It is a classic, big game for us”, CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “We met three times this season already [including the Gomelsky Cup semifinal] and it was always a close game. It will be important to set the tone defensively, to guard their shooters and pick-n-roll well and to stand tall under their defensive pressure. We also want to continue showing good basketball we demonstrate recently even in the game we lost in overtime in Madrid.”
Andrey Vorontsevich will miss the game with injury. Six foreign players will be singled out by coaches on the morning of the game day.
