Just another European big club visits Moscow during difficult times. CSKA lost two Euroleague games in a row and lost Khryapa to injury. But that will add to the thurst for victory.

“This game is very important for us after two losses in a row in the Euroleague”, CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “And it will be difficult, especially taking into consideration the absence of injured Viktor Khryapa. We are very seriously focused and prepared very carefully. Panathinaikos is a very strong and deep team on every position so we have to play on our highest level to win.”

The army men have no players out except for Khryapa. Andrey Vorontsevich and Theodoros Papaloukas joined their partners for practices though the Greek guard can't play because he is unregistered by the club.
