Terrific finish of the game in Istanbul brought the victory to Anadolu Efes.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul vs. CSKA: 63-60 (-3)

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
That was a game in which both teams fought hard. There was a lot of physicality, desire. It was decided by small details and individual performances. There were some crucial moments. One – in the start of second half when we wasted our lead due to our poor execution on offense and defense. Second is that we had 9 turnovers in the second half. Third, we allowed several offensive rebounds in the last minutes of the game. Obviously I congratulate Efes which took a very important win. In two recent away games we lost in overtime in Madrid and we lost here by just 3 points after wasting big margin. This tells that we are moving in the right direction but we have to learn how to play in crucial moments if we want to beat good teams.
