Our team flew from Atlantic coast to Volga banks today to play against Krasnye Krylia in PBL game.

You don't have to look into archives to understand: thanks to CSKA Transaero Airlines just opened the route Vitoria – Samara. It was impossible to rest right after the victory over Caja Laboral as the local airport's special schedule did not allow to leave the city in the morning.

Besides the army men have to play their third away game in 5 days and every game is very important. After qualifying to the Euroleague Final Four our team pretend to take its 20th Russian League title. To get it CSKA has to win one of two games – in Samara tomorrow or against Khimki at home on May 3. The game against Krylia will be not easy for tired army men: the opponents are very dangerous this season and they are mentally relaxed after winning the Russian Cup recently.

“This week is obviously very difficult for us,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “Still I am happy with the mood of the team. I think we are getting better as a team this days even not taking the results into account. We expect difficult game against very good team, but the game is very important as we want to clinch the Russian championship title.”

CSKA does not have ill or injured players with exception of Milos Teodosic who had his nose 'corrected' by Andres Nocioni elbow. The 12-man roster will be decided on Sunday.
