The team continues to suffer from injury problems but this does not affect the result. CSKA defended its home-court advantage by confidently beating Lokomotiv-Kuban in both games in Moscow.

CSKA vs. Lokomotiv Kuban : 64-54 (+10)

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
Under the circumstances we played very good game. We lost Aaron Jackson but received huge effort from everybody who stepped on the floor. We played excellent defense again and we moved the ball well in crucial moments to find open shots. Sometimes we looked like Fort Alamo under siege but we managed to withstand. Hopefully we will be able to show the same effort in Krasnodar to win one more game.
