Shukhovtsov spent 4 years on Lokomotiv-Kuban roster. 2009-10 season was statistically best for the player (6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 61% of two-point shots, 71% of free throws) and he was called for the National Team camp as a result. The player injured his ACL in September of 2012 but did a great job of getting back into shape and he was able to see some action in the end of the season, including the Game 4 of the VTB League final series against CSKA.

The player proved his character by playing fearless against us during the final series. He definitely has margin of improvement and he will provide good help to us during the season.
