Our team kept the intrigue alive for three quarters again. But in the fourth Astana could not stop the rush from the army men.

CSKA vs. Astana: 72-54 (+18)

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
I think our players were not happy with their performance in France and they came to the game with good purpose of doing something really good. But they became frustrated after missing some easy shots. In the second half we played more patient and we found good chemistry, combination of players in the last quarter. We played good defense, moved the ball well to find open shots. Obviously Astana was handicapped after losing its great point guard Johnson to injury but I think we deserved the win for the hard work the team did today. And it can be proved by the stats: we have 101-51 advantage in efficiency ranking.
