On the next morning after the Euroleague game our team left the city. The meeting with Azovmash will be the first in the 4-game trip.
The army men boarded Transaero charter plane and flew to Mariupol, Ukraine. The team went to the hotel and departed to the practice after video session. The early start of the game tomorrow made coaches change the usual road schedule. The team features 13 players: the ones who were on the roster against Budivelnik plus Evgeny Voronov.
“We will face a quick team with good shooters so our defense will be tested again,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “Besides the defensive adjustments we have to improve our ball movement, we have to move the ball faster.”
The army men will play their next game in Moscow in three weeks, on November 15, against Partizan in Euroleague. Till that moment red-blues will visit (besides Azovmash) Fenerbahce-Ulker, Tsmoki-Minsk and Barcelona.
