The series of our team’s road games will continue in Minsk where the army men will face Tsmoki in VTB League game.
“Minsk had changed the roster and they had a great start of the season,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “This makes the game even more complicated. We have to bounce back from our awful performance in the Euroleague game in Istanbul. We had two days of good practices, we prepared well and hopefully we will be able to show what we are capable to do.”
There are 13 players on red-blues away roster. Alexander Gudumak who has just returned from Russian Cup games with CSKA-2 and Alexey Zozulin (right hip) stayed home. Andrey Vorontsevich has boarded Transaero charter plane for the first time this season. The forward have just had his first practice with the team since August injury on Friday.
“We will see how Andrey feels after the shootaround on Sunday,” Ettore Messina added. “We had just two practices and we don’t want to risk. Still if Andrey feels well we will add him to the roster for the game.”
