Our team’s center Alexander Kaun has been named VTB United League October MVP. In the first month of the season CSKA won all three League games. The army man averaged 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks per game.
The MVP award is determined each month by the League and Sport-Express newspaper via a special formula in which player stats and experts’ opinion are taken into account.
In addition to Alexander Kaun, center Keith Benson (Tsmoki-Minsk), forward Derrick Brown (Lokomotiv-Kuban), guard Andrew Goudelock (UNICS) and guard Petteri Koponen (Khimki) were named to the All-October Team.
