Our team started the Euroleague season in Paris against Nanterre and it became obvious that the path to glory will be difficult. On Thursday Army Men will face the French team again – now at home.
The Greens task will be more difficult because of Sergey Gladyr injury. The hosts now have only on player on the inactive list: Alexey Zozulin continues to rehabilitate after hamstring injury. At the same time CSKA head coach Ettore Messina promised that Nenad Krstic who missed two previous games will be on the 12-man roster.
“Nenad participated in two practices with the team and he will definitely dress for the game,” Ettore Messina said. “We will decide in the course of the game to use him or not but I surely want Nenad to feel the rhythm and to get into team action sooner.”
“Our opponents played very well at home,” Messina added. “They are athletic, well coached and they use their strengths to keep with their playing style. Still we are coming after a very good game where we found our chemistry and played well. We want to continue the same way and go on to the Top 16.”
