For Muscovites CSKA – Barcelona is a main attraction fo the Euroleague regular season. With to games to play on the first stage both teams are already in Top 16 but they continue to fight for better final positions.
After losing to Fenerbahce Ulker our team also lost the chance to finish first in Group A. Still CSKA will stay second or third and that actually mean only the different opponents on the second stage.

To finish second CSKA has to beat Barcelona by 10 points and to play no worse that Catalan side in the last game. Or just to win both games and to hope Barca will lose two.
“In Barcelona we actually played only half of the game the way we could play,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina Now besides defending their shooters and post game we have to improve our focus on shot selection and performance during the key moments of the game.
