Euroleague regular championship finish looks not easy for our team. Even in the last game on the hot floor of Pionir the Army Men need a win.

The win will allow CSKA to most probably stay second in the group A. The wins by Nanterre and Barcelona can move the red-blues to the third place. In case of loss our team can stay second if Barca loses to Budivelnik. From the other side, Partizan continues to fight for the place in Top 16. The task of Belgrade side is to finish with the result which is no worse than the one of Nanterre.

“We play our classic rival which is having very good season despite several injuries,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “And we know how difficult is to play in front of the crowd in Pionir. We are coming after the good win in Euroleague and the loss in VTB League so we want to get back on the winning path and finish the regular season in the best possible way.”

13 players boarded Transaero charter flight. Andrey Vorontsevich (calf) and Alexander Gudumak stayed in Moscow. Victor Khryapa joined the team practices recently. The coaches will decide on his status before the game.
