CSKA is one of the strongest and most respected teams in Europe. I want to help my new team to win all tournaments we will participate. Once I played against CSKA in Moscow. It was very tough game which we lose. I know that CSKA is a very professional club and I am very glad to be here.

Further have followed questions of journalists:

Do you know that Russian League is faintly then Italian?

I know that it is different from Italian which is one of the strongest in Europe. But it is interesting for me to test my abilities and gain new experience.

Tell us about the negotiations with CSKA. Which other clubs pretended on Andersen?

Kenneth Grant: The negotiations were very-very long. David had contract with Siena and we received several good proposals from European clubs. He won the Italian championship last season and became MVP of play-off. The main reason that Andersen has chosen CSKA is ability to win Euroleague ULEB again. Till Andersen has leaved Australia he won many different titles.

David Andersen: And I want to win more!

Have you already negotiated to Dusan Ivkovic?

Not yet, but I hopes to see him in Serbia (Australian team will participate in the international tournament Diamond ball in Beograd in August). Ivkovic is famous coach. Players are like to play in his teams.

But he is also strict person. Are you ready to the army discipline?

I already played with the strict coaches. I am ready to it. I like such atmosphere.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I am home men. I like to spend my free time at home, to play computer and to spend time with my friends. But I know that there are many interesting places in Moscow which I want to visit. Out of basketball I prefer quiet life.

Did you learn Italian language and are you going to learn Russian?

Yes, I know Italian and I am going to learn Russian language. It would be difficult, but I will try.

After the press conference the small tour around the office of PBC CSKA was organized for David. Tomorrow he will return to Australia for preparation for Olympic Games. He will return to Moscow at the beginning of September.
