Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
We came here with maximum respect towards Astana, good, well-organized team. Besides we were concerned because we played Euroleague game just two days ago. We knew that Victor Khryapa will miss the game in the morning and we lost Kyle Hines after 2 minutes. That led to some difficulties. And I am proud for the effort of my team. We played well, showed heart and effort, played excellent defense, stopped turning the ball over after halftime and had 24 assists.
