Streak needed!

Our team's longest winning streak of the season was stopped in Belgrade. CSKA will try to start another one in VTB League game against Azovmash.

As it happens often the Army Men have to play two games in three days. The team returned from Belgrade to Moscow at 7 am and gathered for the practice in the afternoon. Unfortunately the red-blues are not able to use the full roster for the game. Besides Kyle Hines who continues to rehab his injured right ankle, Milos Teodosic will also stay out of the game with right leg bruise.

“We play soon after the difficult game in Euroleague,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “We are not in the best physical conditions and we have to overcome the absences of Hines and Teodosic. We have to find extra energy and refocus mentally to play against the next opponent. It is important to prepare well. Azovmash has good shooters, well-organized offense and aggressive defense.”
