The Euroleague Top 16 continues after two-week break. Our team traveled to Istanbul to face Galatasaray in Game 6.

The Army Men went to the game in almost full strength: Grigory Shukhovtcov stayed in Moscow to recover from minor ankle injury, Alexander Gudumak continues to practice with the junior team.

“We are at the good moment of our Euroleague season as well as Galatasaray which won two recent games in a row,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “Istanbul team was able to recover its big men after injuries and coach Ataman is doing a great job by finding the positions for everyone on the court. To continue our good period we have to play a solid game in front of the very hot crowd. Rebounding will be crucial again because Galatasaray frontline is good in this aspect especially on the offensive glass. We are also happy to see that Zoran Erceg recovered from the injury he battled through last season with us and he is demonstrating his best basketball right now.”
