Within the program of One Team project children of Our Home social center visited CSKA office. Club office guide tour was continued with informative entertainment program for children. Last week they watched CSKA – Bayern game in USH CSKA, today kids managed to see where and how the Army Men create the victories.

Tour for children was conducted by Sergey Ryabets, the Director for Events and Special Projects, and Sergey Tarakanov, the Chairman of the Board of CSKA Veterans, Ambassador of One Team project. Event began with visit to the part of CSKA practice which is always closed for strangers – trainings of the main team on the eve of the Euroleague game with Galatasaray. Staying quiet, children with a great interest watched actions of coach Messina distributing instructions to players, children managed not only to meet with the Italian specialist later, but also to exchange couple of phrases in Russian.

Passing by the Departments of Marketing and Sales, CSKA fan shop, children went to a team locker room where they were told about it functions. Sergey Tarakanov noticed that this locker room is the best in Russia, and in his time players could not even dream of such modern “house”. Huge number of shoes in åðó lockers of basketball players impressed a lot, and, in particular, the size of Nenad Krstic’s footwear. In the weightlifting gym visitors met Grigory Shukhovtcov and Kyle Hynes, who work under the leadership of Evgeny Burin; they were impressed with the walls in graffiti and Hynes’ shoulders. Having stopped for some minutes in a corridor of the main office of CSKA, children observed photos from Army Team history, asked questions about the honorable president Alexander Gomelskiy and latest victories of the team.

The visit came to the end in a conference room where the main press events take place. One Team Ambassadors Victor Khryapa and Kyle Hynes joined the kids there. Children asked questions of basketball, players’ childhood, how and when they started to play, how many rivals they had and how many countries visited in the career.

Victor noted that CSKA is one big family which builds a way to victories together, shares all experiences, good and bad days. When CSKA wins – it’s done by all big team not by only one player. Kyle wished to kids to work hard, because only work and huge desire to achieve the goal will help. Finally Sergey Tarakanov showed his champion medals, children made photos with their favorite players and received souvenirs, the most active participant also got a scarf of CSKA fan. Future plans of cooperation with the orphanage school include a series of basketball trainings in USH CSKA.
