The VTB League semifinal series will continue in Moscow on Monday. After beating UNICS twice in Kazan our team is ready to fight for the spot in the finals on the home court.
“We have to approach the next game as it was the Game 5 of the series,” CSKA head coach Ettore Messina said. “We should not think about second chances otherwise it will negatively affect our game. We have to come on the floor with the same focus we had in Games 5 against Panathinaikos and Lokomotiv-Kuban, we have to stay patient, concentrate on rebounds, defense, ball movement because UNICS is an excellent team with a number of good shooters.”
The Army Men had two practices after return from Tatarstan. Vladimir Micov stays out with virus. Aaron Jackson (right knee) continues his conservative rehab and started to practice individually.
