Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
The game was split into had a lot of fragments. We started really well, we dominated the rhythm of the game. But then Panathinaikos got back by scoring hustle points, with offensive rebounding and punishing us for the turnovers. In the third quarter opponents made some big shots but we never gave up. We went small, we switched everything and caused problems to their offensive ball movement which opened a lot of shots in the third quarter. Besides we controlled the rebounds and that gave us opportunity to score some easy buckets on fast breaks. When a game goes like this you need some luck and quality of the players like Fridzon who reads the situation and scores at important moments. We won, congratulations to the team. We were fighting but we have to work on a lot of things. It will be vital for us to decrease the number of mistakes. This game was a good test for us.
