Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to Lokomotiv on the win. It’s the type of game we expected. It’s obvious that offensive rebounding and our turnovers gave the home team extra possessions. That was the situation in the first half. In the third quarter, we managed to stay in the game then took the lead, and it was 65-60, thanks to good defense and use of our two centers simultaneusly. But then Maxim Grigoryev hit some big shots and let Lokomotiv take the momentum back. We have a lot to analyze. Why didn’t Fridzon play in the second half? That was the coach’s decision.
