Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
We lacked concentration in the beginning, missed some layups and weren’t productive. Still our defense was good throughout whole game and we used it. This is what we worked on during recent practices. Our defense dictated the pace of the game. We were able also to change our attitude offensively and came close to our own standards. We have full respect to Krasny Oktyabr. It is obvious that with the new head coach the team plays with better quality. One of our goals was to share the playing time and we managed to do it – only Fridzon played more minutes because he was notably motivated. Sasha had fever recently, he almost did not practice, just warmed up. I am happy with Pasha and Kyle. Korobkov did not play against Cedevita after experiencing back spasms but now he looked good.
