Sergey Tarakanov and Victor Pankrashkin to be honored during CSKA – Olympiacos game

Our club’s veterans Sergey Tarakanov and Victor Pankrashkin will be honored during halftime of CSKA – Olympiakos game on the court. The symbolic jerseys of Sergey (N 6) and Victor (N 12) will be raised to the rafters.

Elena Bezdenezhnykh, Norilsk Nickel Deputy CEO – Head of Corporate Governance, Asset Management and Legal Unit, will present memorable gifts on behalf of CSKA owner to Sergey Tarakanov and Olga, Victor Pankrashkin’s widow.

Before the start of the game (19:15-19:45) Sergey Tarakanov will host autograph session in the foyer of Sergey Belov stand. The Head of CSKA Veteran Board will also present his medals of Olympic Games, World, European and USSR Championships.

Sergey Tarakanov was born on April 25, 1958. USSR Merited Master of Sports, Olympic champion and bronze winner, World champion and vice-champion, 3-time European champion, European silver and bronze winner, Intercontinental Cup winner, 7-time USSR champion, USSR Cup winner. 2007 European Champion as the Russian NT GM.

Victor Pankrashkin was born on December 10, 1957. USSR Merited Master of Sports, Olympic champion, European vice-champion, 6-time USSR champion, USSR Cup winner.
