“We played well most of the game in Milan and I congratulate my team on winning the Top 16,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Now we have to play second away game in three days against the opponent that has talent and plays good recently, especially at home. We need this victory to secure the first place in VTB League and we will do our best to win.”
The Army Men stayed in the hotel after the game, went to Bergamo in the morning and took OrenAir charter flight to Minsk. Ivan Strebkov (plays for junior team) and Vitaly Fridzon (broken finger) will be out of roster as well as one of the foreign players who will be coaching staff’s game day decision.
