Our team has to fight for the third place in the third Final Four in a row. This time Fenerbahce-Ulker will be the opponent.

“Nobody wants to play this kind of games and we keep telling Euroleague about it,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “We are obliged to be ready, focused and to compete, to stand up for the name of our club.”

Milos Teodosic missed the practice because he reported calf pains. He was tested in one of Madrid hospitals and remains questionable for the game.

“Relativity” connections

Dimitris Itoudis spent 13 seasons as an assistant coach to current Fenerbahce Ulker boss Zeljko Obradovic at Panathinaikos Athens (1999-2013). Together they led the Greens to 5 Euroleague crowns.

Kyle Hines and Ricky Hickman teamed up for the UNC Greensboro from 2004 till 2007.

Fener’s guard Nikos Zisis played for CSKA from 2007 to 2009.
