Jackson moved to Moscow from Bilbao in 2012 and helped our team to win 3 VTB League and Russian League titles, to qualify for the Euroleague Final Four as many times. In May of 2015 Aaron set Final Four single game record by stealing the ball 7 times from Olympiacos players.
Jackson played in 183 games (89 starts) for CSKA averaging 6.3 points (61.1% two-pointers, 36.6% three-pointers, 82.5% free throws), 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals in 20.5 minutes.
Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
The whole CSKA organization is happy with Aaron’s contribution to the team’s success, his motivation and dedication. He was very important for us past season. I believe that by staying healthy together we will be able to bring joy to all our fans. It is also essential that he appreciates everyone on the club, that he feels like he truly belongs to our great club and ready to do everything possible to help the team win. This tells a lot about his personality and we do want to have the players like him on the roster.
Aaron Jackson, CSKA guard:
I appreciate the fact that the President and the coaching staff extended my contract for two more years, it shows their belief in me… I’m very excited and more than motivated to erase the feelings the team and I shared in Madrid, and to return glory in CSKA.
