The meeting of CSKA and Kalev will be no ordinary VTB League game. It marks the first broadcast on Match TV channel and will feature spectacular game.

“Kalev changed its roster significantly in comparison to the last year,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “It is an athletic team with strong frontline. Killingsworth is dangerous with his post moves, Freimanis can play both 4 and 5 because of his shooting abilities, Boone is also effective under the basket. Sometimes Kalev has Killingsworth and Boone on the floor together and in these moments they load the paint. Backcourt players are also important for our opponents. Weideman is a dangerous scorer who can create plays for himself and his teammates; Arbet is a great shooter, probably the best in the league and one of the best in Europe. We have full respect to our opponents and we prepare for the game very seriously.”

CSKA practice in full strength today with only Joel Freeland (calf injury) still missing.
