The game in USH CSKA on Sunday will not be easy: the visitors from Czechia are the Army Men neighbors in the VTB League standings.

“Our opponents has nothing to do with Nymburk of last year,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Now they are a much better team and that is seen by the results. Nymburk is an aggressive, athletic, high-tempo team that like to run the court and finish strong with guards and forwards. They get around 20% of their points off transition so we need not to let them run, to have defensive energy to make stops. We prepare seriously, and I hope our fans also understand the seriousness of the game and they will come to support us. The team showed good reaction after the loss to Unicaja, we played two games showing consistency on defense. So I hope we will come on the court with the same attitude.”

Victor Khryapa (wrist) and Joel Freeland (calf) remain out for CSKA.
