Congratulations to the team, we took first place in the VTB regular season being dominant, playing good basketball and showing respect to all opponents. My primary intention was to share playing time, and we managed to do it. I would like to have Lazarev on the floor more, but he got 5 fouls. We approached the game seriously with our mind set on the preparations to playoffs. I’d like to thank our fans also, they came here to cheer for the team and to celebrate our win in the regular season together.
Answering the question about Misha Kulagin, I should say that he is developing all year. Maybe the fans don’t see that, but I see that he practices hard, he likes basketball, he is always motivated and determined, he steps on the court more and more confident. As you can see he helps us every time when he has a chance, he did a good job in several games this season, and it is not only about his scoring abilities but also about organizing the game, rebounding and defending. He is definitely a good addition for CSKA. He has great chance to practice and play alongside such players like Teodosic, De Colo, Fridzon, Jackson, Higgins and learn from them.
