Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to the team with 1-0 lead. We knew from the beginning that both teams had different load recently, we returned from the Final Four in Istanbul and Loko had several days to prepare. Still we bounced back, demonstrated good approach, we fought, we jumped for the lose balls and rebounded. We had some good moments, chanced to raise the lead but we did not used them with Victor miss after good steal and James pass from under the basket. We got good lesson that it is never over until it’s over. Loko is a good team, it plays with no pressure of “must win”, it showed spirit and scored some important baskets. I am satisfied with the approach. We have players-winners on the team. We have to analyze the film and think, what we can do better. Thank you to the fans who came in big numbers today and helped us.
