Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to the team with 2-0 in the series, this is a good lead but it doesn’t give us the championship. We understand what CSKA and Khimki rivalry means, we play focused and determined. We were better for majority of both games, we won the rebounding battle, we found many options to score. With all basketball Xs and Os it is determination, decisiveness and approach that make the bigger difference. I would like to mention once again how great is it to play with 5 thousands fans in attendance, I want to thank them for their support. Kurbanov, Higgins and Fridzon in early foul trouble did not create many problems for us because we have several ways to play. Yes, it was Kurbanov and Higgins who had bigger load in guarding Shved but Jackson also did a good job, we also used three bigs with Semen, Victor and Kyle, we used different defenses.
