The American player joined CSKA in 2015 after the season in Gaziantep, Turkey. In two years Cory proved himself to be one of the most reliable and all-around players on the Army Team roster. He played in 120 games (45 starts), averaging 9.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 19.9 minutes.
Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
In his two years here Cory proved to be a real member of CSKA organization. His huge effort, quality as a player and as a person helped our team to win Euroleague and VTB League titles playing significant role. Throughout this seasons he developed his game with the team, his teammates and brought CSKA to different level. He is still motivated, concentrated and determined to push the team to win more titles. We are happy to have Cory back with us. I can wish him to stay healthy and ready for new challenges though I have no doubt that he is ready.
Cory Higgins, CSKA guard/forward:
I am very grateful and would like to thank the entire CSKA organization for this opportunity. I feel Coach Itoudis and his staff are the best in Europe and I look forward to working with them again to bring more trophies to CSKA.
