Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Bayern created good team that definitely missed Jovic – hopefully, he will get back soon. We did not just win, we realized how to return to the game after negative situation. Press the ball, play clear defense, hide your weak spots. It also helps that we have versatile options – for example, Clyburn plays three and four, Leo plays big guard putting pressure on the ball. You know that usually I don’t like to talk about single players but Katsivelis deserves the applouse and congratulations tonight. We signed him for preseason only. He has no obsessions. He stayed on the bench for almost three quarters, but played his role perfectly and helped us in crucial moments. He is a living example for many of our players, he was our X-factor. Some things I liked about the game, some – not. Second quarter was bad. In the beginning of third quarter they went on 0-10 run. We took time out and found out how we want to play. We stepped on necessary level of toughness, rebounding, spacing. So it was a double victory.
