Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to the team, it was very important to start the season with victory. We saw two different pictures in the halves. Sincerely, I did not expect that we will start that well because we still don’t have chemistry, there are many newcomers, the players have to find out what the team is capable to do. But we literally blew away Enisey from the start – we defended better, overrebounded and overrun them. And we stopped in the second half. Obviously, the hosts played better and it was a factor. This kind of game tells us that we have to work on many things. The team is like a mechanism that you have to set up, it takes time. We did not set the goal of winning by 30-40 points. After getting big advantage we started to share the load and prepare for the next game that will be played in just two days.
